What is Expired Time?
Escape Games are a live adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to solve the mystery of each room. Players are given 60 minutes to find hidden objects, unlock locks or doors, and solve problems to get out of the room before time expires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is the minimum amount of players per room
A. We have no minimum requirements, 2 players have successfully escaped our rooms, although there are better odds with more brain power!
Q. Do I need to make a reservation or can I just show up and play?
A. We strongly suggest booking your room online, if it is a busy evening we can not promise a game will be available. If it is a slow night and we do not have bookings we sometimes let our employees leave early. The best plan is to call just to make sure someone is there if you did not book online.
Q. What is an appropriate age range for kids to play a room?
A. We have had kids as young as 6 years old play our rooms and can figure out some clues and find hidden objects. Some clues may be difficult for younger players. We always suggest an adult player in the room to help with the more difficult clues. We have had groups of 10 -12 year old kids escape our rooms. It all depends on how they process things.
Q. Will my group be the only ones in the room or will another group of players join us?
A. You have the option to set up your room PRIVATE, for an additional $25 you can keep the room to just your group. No one else can join a private room. If you do not mark the room private, it does leave tickets available for others to join the same game as you.
Q. Do you allow food and/or drink in the rooms.
A. NO! Sorry, but we don’t want to clean up spills or sticky food left behind. Also, our rooms have electronics in them, we do not want liquid to ruin a prop or game.

One Eyed Willie’s Treasure Hunt
One-Eyed Willie set sail aboard his pirate ship to search for the lost treasure of Keystone Island. After months out to sea, he discovered the treasure that contained many jewels and doubloons. After stowing away his booty and setting many booby traps along the way to protect it, he set sail to return to his homeland of Astoria. Before he would make it back home, his ship was attacked, and One-Eyed Willie was captured. His captors tied up Willie in hopes of finding the treasure on board. Without any luck and no help from Willie, they did not find his hidden treasure and left Willie to die aboard his ship.
Those who dare to enter his ship to find the treasure have 60 minutes to complete their task before the ghost of Willie returns and makes ye scallywags walk the plank! Do you have what it takes to find the treasure before you end up in Davy Jones’ Locker?
KING TUT’S REVENGE
British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamun (King Tut) in November of 1922. After he opened King Tut’s sarcophagus in February of 1923 he discovered the sacred scarab of the young King. The scarab was removed from the sarcophagus and a curse was placed upon anyone who enters the tomb. The only way to remove the curse is to find and return the scarab to the tomb. There were rumors that Carter hid the scarab in a nearby location as he studied other artifacts of the tomb. You have 60 minutes to find the scarab and return it to the sarcophagus to lift the curse, the only problem is the sarcophagus has been recently locked back up and you must now find a way to open it and return the scarab before King Tut gets his revenge on you!
